Would you be willing to cut in half clothes from your favorite celebrity, if it meant you could keep one for yourself? It's what two fans of Miguel Tanfelix ended up doing after they both caught a jacket that the star threw into the Ati-atihan crowd.

The Voltes V: Legacy star was at the Kapuso Ati-Atihan Festival at Pastrana, Kalibo, Aklan last January 12 along with Ysabel Ortega, Glaiza De Castro, and Jeric Gonzales. After his performance, Miguel gamely threw his autographed jacket into the crowd, with fans Leona Albelar and John Romel able to snatch it. Rather than fight over the jacket, the pair decided to cut it in half instead so that they would both have a remembrance of the event.

On her Facebook account, Leona thanked Miguel for giving away his jacket, although she did express a little regret at having to split the jacket in half. As of this writing, the post has garnered more than a thousand reactions.

In the comments to her post, Leona also “complained” about not being able to sleep because Miguel's jacket smelled so good.

If this is an indication of how well Miguel will be received at the Sinulog Festival over the weekend, then fans need to be ready to battle it out at the Kapuso Network mall shows Miguel is set to take part in in the Queen City of the South.

Miguel, along with other cast members of Voltes V: Legacy, will be taking part in back-to-back mall shows today, starting with the Ayala Malls Central Bloc at 4 PM and at the Robinsons Galleria Cebu afterward at 6:00 p.m. Tomorrow, January 15, Miguel and cast members Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, and Raphael Landicho will also take part in the Sinulog Grand Parade as part of the Kapuso Float.
