Maja Salvador, Hidilyn Diaz, National Artist Ricky Lee, and more are part of the 17th edition of the Eastwood City Walk of Fame.

On January 18, eight personalities from film, television, music, theater, news and public affairs, sports, radio, and social media receive the five-point brass star from the German Moreno Foundation at the Hollywood-inspired Walk of Fame in Eastwood Citywalk.

Part of the prestigious event is multi-awarded TV actress Maja Salvador, 2020 Tokyo Olympics weightlifting gold medal winner Hidilyn Diaz, and National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee.

The other personalities who are honored in the Walk of Fame event are entertainment reporter Mario Dumaual for news and public affairs, singer Janet Basco for music, broadcast journalist Gerry Baja for radio, and internet sensations Ranz Kyle and Nianna Guerrero for social media.

The relatives of the late National Artist for Theater Tony Mabesa received the posthumous award for his contributions to the country's theater scene.

The Walk of Fame started in 2005 by the late German “Kuya Germs” Moreno to honor personalities in their respective professions. This also supports Mowelfund or the Movie Workers Welfare Foundation, the organization that helps workers in the film industry.
