GOT7's Jinyoung drops music video for 'Cotton Candy'

K-pop boy group GOT7's Jinyoung has officially made his solo debut with the release of his first-ever mini album Chapter 0: WITH and its title track's cozy music video.

Titled “Cotton Candy,” the title track is a light pop track that features a mix of soothing piano, bass, and synthesizer elements. The lyrics, written and composed by Jinyoung himself, express the artist's feelings for his Ahgases (GOT7's fans) who showered him with love and support since day one. He compares them to cotton candy's sweetness and fluffiness.

The accompanying music video gave off the same soft and fuzzy vibes with Jinyoung's calming presence under a white and bright cloud. His fur ensembles also further heightened the concept and made it all the more sweet sounding.

Apart from “Cotton Candy,” his new EP also includes songs such as “Animal,” “Our Miracle,” “Sleep Well,” and “Letter.” For the past few years, Jinyoung has been focused on his acting career starring in K-dramas such as Yumi's Cells, Dream High 2, and more. That's why fans have been anticipating his new music release.
