This time, the award came from the New York Cinema Independent Awards. Congratulations, Joaquin!
Kapuso actor Joaquin Domagoso's trophy cabinet continues to pile up as he won another international acting award for the movie The Boy in the Dark.
This time, Joaquin was awarded as Best Youth Actor at the New York Cinema Independent Awards.
During the movie's Philippine premiere, Joaquin admitted that he felt overwhelmed with the recognition he received this past few months.
Aside from the New York Cinema Independent Awards, the 21-year-old actor also received acting recognitions from the 16th Toronto Film and Script Awards, Five Continents International Film Festival, and Boden International Film Festival.
He said, "Sometimes I feel like it's too much 'cause they keep praising me, praising me over and over again, pero I still feel like I'm not that worthy na [bigyan ng] praise."
"Pero naniniwala ako na may nakakita ng galing ko. I hope na they did see that and thankful ako sa kanila.
