Nora Aunor is returning to the big screen!

Legendary showbiz personality Nora Aunor will once again showcase her acting prowess via a new film which will be directed by Adolf Alix Jr.

Ms. Nora, who was hailed as the National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts in 2022, expressed her excitement for this upcoming project. This comes after her numerous hospitalization last year.

The multi-awarded actress told Chika Minute, “Para bang, 'Uy, meron pa rin pala naniniwala' 'di ba. Nakakatakot din kasi, may mga limitasyon na kasi, e.”

She continued, “Ito ay parang handog ko sa kanila. Kaya malakas ang pakiramdam ko ngayon, kahit na alam mo nahihiya na ako, pero parang balewala sa akin.”

The movie will also serve as a reunion project for Ms. Nora and highly-respected actress-director Ms. Gina Alajar.

Ms. Gina had the great opportunity to direct the Superstar in the primetime series Onanay which aired from 2018 to 2019.

“Masarap naman ka-trabaho si Mare. Laging masaya naman sa set, Gina said, “She's very simple, very humble. She's very generous even though she's Nora Aunor - no entitlement.”

Also, part of the cast of the highly-anticipated project is Quezon City Councilor Alfred Vargas. The former Encantadia actor promised that he will give all his heart to this film.

“Nandoon talaga 'yung kaba, pero nandoon din 'yung excitement. Ibibigay ko 'yung puso kasi the fact na makakasama ko si Ate Guy na pangarap ng lahat ng artistang Pilipino.”
