Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz are best friends-turned-lovers in the digital miniseries, 'Pag-ibig Na Kaya.'
Universal Records Philippines dropped on Friday February 10, the second and final episode of Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz's first-ever miniseries, Pag-ibig Na Kaya, on YouTube.
In the digital series, Julie plays Sab, an executive assistant, while Rayver plays Miguel, the son of the CEO of a music company where Sab works for.
After so many years following Sab's employment at the company where Miguel is her boss, they reconnected. It was revealed in the second episode of Pag-ibig Na Kaya that they were best friends.
Miguel has had a secret admiration for Sab since they were in college but, during that time, Sab has a boyfriend who broke her heart in the end.
After she and her boyfriend broke up, Sab doesn't want to be in a relationship anymore and this is when Miguel hints about his feelings for his best friend.
Miguel was then hurt when he was best friend-zoned by Sab.
Years later, Miguel and Sab rekindle their past love after meeting again--this time when they are mature enough to express their love for each other and brave enough to have a commitment.
