Carla Abellana stars in two completely different series, 'Voltes V: Legacy' and 'Stolen Life' which will both air this 2023 on GMA.
The year 2023 has been prosperous for Kapuso actress Carla Abellana as she is blessed with a new series on GMA called Stolen Life, even though the highly anticipated live-action adaptation series, Voltes V: Legacy, where she is part of, will just soon be released.
There was a time that Carla worked on the two completely different series simultaneously, as seen on her Instagram account.
Just recently, she went back to the Voltes V: Legacy set to finish her remaining scenes for the said GMA Telebabad series which will air this year. In the GMA adaptation of the Japanese anime Voltes V, Carla plays Mary Ann Armstrong, the mother of the Armstrong brothers Steve, Big Bert, and Little Jon.
The hardworking actress jumps off from one project to another as she now focuses on Stolen Life where she plays the lead role, alongside Beauty Gonzalez and Gabby Concepion.
From the action-packed Voltes V: Legacy, Carla now works on a new challenging dramatic role for Stolen Life, which follows a lady whose life is stolen because of astral projection. Like Voltes V: Legacy, it will also premiere this year.
Joining the stellar cast of Stolen Life are showbiz icon Celia Rodriguez, Lovely Rivero, William Lorenzo, Anjo Damiles, and Divine Aucina.
The series is directed by Jerry Sineneng and will air on GMA Afternoon Prime beginning July 3.
