SEVENTEEN to make comeback this April

By Jashley Ann Cruz

Carats, we're bound to hear new music from K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN once again as their agency PLEDIS Entertainment announces that they'll be making an official comeback this April!

On March 11, new sources revealed that PLEDIS confirmed the good news regarding the upcoming album. In a phone call, they shared, “SEVENTEEN will be releasing a new album next month. The SEVENTEEN members are preparing for their fan meeting and working on the new album at the same time. They are currently hard at work on their preparations for the album.”

Although PLEDIS confirmed the comeback, SEVENTEEN's leader S.Coups made the initial announcement during the first night of their 'SEVENTEEN in CARATLAND” fan meeting.

S.Coups playfully said, “The company told me to say this on the final day [of the fan meeting], but part of my charm is that I'm disobedient by nature. We'll be making a comeback in April.”

SEVENTEEN members have always been known for dropping hints and letting Carats in on some secrets. When they visited the Philippines last October, all of the members kept promising that they'll soon be back and will be filling a bigger venue. A few days after, they announced that they'll be extending their “Be The Sun” world tour and will be coming back in December of the same year.

This time around, S.Coups did not hold back and surprised Carats and probably his agency, by taking matters into his own hand and revealing the good news.

This will be SEVENTEEN's latest comeback as a full group since they released SECTOR 17 last July 2022. The album is the repackaged version of their fourth studio album Face The Sun which they released last May 2022.

Recently, SEVENTEEN's quirky unit BSS comprising DK, Seungkwan, and Hoshi also made their official comeback with the release of their songs “Fighting” feat. Lee Youngji, “LUNCH,” and “7PM” feat. Peder Elias.
