Filipina queens Nicole Scherzinger and KATSEYE's Sophia Laforteza just met in NYC after the girl group watched 'Sunset Boulevard' the musical.
KATSEYE's Filipina member Sophia Laforteza is fangirling over Nicole Scherzinger.
The two met when KATSEYE watched the Broadway musical Sunset Boulevard which stars Nicole Scherzinger.
The group took photos with Nicole after the show, which they shared on KATSEYE's official social media accounts.
“Mother said 'represent' when I told her I was from the Philippines,” Sophia wrote when she reposted the photo on her Instagram Stories and revealed she had a moment with her fellow Filipina.
Sophia is a Filipino singer born to parents Carla Guevara-Laforteza and Godfrey Laforteza.
She was a trainee under HYBE and Geffen Records. She is the official leader of the girl group KATSEYE.
Sophia competed on the reality show The Debut: Dream Academy and ranked first place in the finale, becoming a member of the girl group KATSEYE.
Meanwhile, Nicole Scherzinger was born to Alfonso Valiente of Filipino descent, and Rosemary Elikolani, a native Hawaiian with Ukrainian descent. She was the lead singer for the girl group Pussycat Dolls which debuted in 2003. She has also released two solo albums, Killer Love and Big Fat Lie. She has starred in movies Moana, and Moana 2 as well as the theater adaptations for Rent, Cats, and currently Sunset Boulevard.
