Fans of the iconic gag show Bubble Gang were thrilled after award-winning comedian Michael V. hinted that one of his beloved characters will make a comeback soon.

Direk Michael posted on Facebook that he found 'great ukay-ukay finds' recently showing the cover of the vinyl featuring DJ Boom Buy.

One of the mainstays of Bubble Gang, Paolo Contis had an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com and shared some details of this big surprise that they are cooking up this coming May 17.

Shooting DJ Boom Buy again, Paolo commented, “Beautiful!” He added, “Alam mo, si Direk Bitoy, I think this is itong DJ Boom Buy, dati na niyang character 'to and it's a character na marami nagsabi na hindi na puwede gawin, because sa panahon ngayon.

“Marami nang nagca-cancel, marami nang nagpupuna, you know naman Bitoy, he would push the limits.”

Paolo, who has won numerous times in the Star Awards for TV as the Best Comedy Actor knows that it is their job as a Batang Bubble to constantly push the limits with the content that they offer.

“Alam namin na marami ng limitations, because iba na 'yung sensitivity ng mga tao ngayon. But sabi nga ni Direk Bitoy sa amin, 'it is still our job to push the limits.' Kung hanggang saan, then let's see.

“At the end of the day, people should realize we just want to make people laugh, ayaw namin pagtawanan 'yung tao. Gusto lang namin matawa 'yung tao, especially ngayon ang hirap ng buhay.”
