These days, going out is no longer reserved for the weekend.

From last-minute work drinks to mid-week festive get-together, the next weeks are going to involve a whole lot of office-toilet transformations.

But how do you turn your hair from dull to done-up without spending hours in front of the mirror?

Here, Thia Thomalla and resident Glow Up hairstylist Mother Bok show how to put together the top four quick and easy looks you can achieve with minimal equipment.

Low Bun

• Smooth your hair with a brush or comb and wrap it with a tie.
• Pull the section of your hair and loop it around until a bun is formed.
• Pin into place until secure then pull out some soft strands at the front of the head to frame the face.

High Pony

• Backcomb hair at the crown to create lots of volume, then scoop it back in a high pony. Secure with a hair tie.
• Add height by pushing a pin-tail comb through the head and lifting the front section upwards. Mist with hairspray and backcomb the ponytail for extra volume.
• Wrap a small section of hair from the ponytail around its base where the hair tie is visible then pin into place.

Easy Dutch Crown

• Brush through the hair to remove any tangles then divide hair into two parts.
• Start braiding the two parts and once all the hair is brought into a braid, secure with a pin.
• Starting with one side, lay it across the nape of the head and pin it down with bobby pins. Do the same on the other side.
• Spray the style with hairspray and smooth down any hair that is sticking out.

Messy Waves

• From the steps earlier, simply remove the wave and detangle any strands.
• Add some cute hair clips that sparkle.

From a low bun to an easy Dutch crown braid, your options are far from limited. With these ideas, your hair will surely be the least of your worries so you can party the night away.
