Miss Supranational Philippines and newly-minted The Miss Philippines Pauline Amelinckx made her post-pageant plans clear at the homecoming organized by the Miss Universe Philippines organization for her and Mister Supranational Philippines Johannes Rissler.
Pauline told GMANetwork.com that for the moment, she is looking to continue hosting pageants after her Miss Supranational stint and help other women on their journey toward empowerment.
“I am still so much into hosting pageants. It's not just about me joining pageants as to why I like pageants. It's really just the overall idea of it, of being part of another woman's journey towards becoming even more empowered and even more capable and reaching her own greatness. I'd really like to continue hosting other pageants,” she said.
Looking to the future, Pauline is also eyeing a lifestyle show, either one offered to her or something that she creates on her social media channels.
“I'd also like to become a host of a travel, lifestyle, or beauty show and if not maybe create that content myself. I'm the kind of person that really likes to plan it out all in her head first step by step. That's really my own nature,” she shared. “I'm going to have to talk to other creatives and pick their brain as well and talk to other people as well who can help me capture those moments and scenes to make sure it's beautiful content that other people are going to watch and learn from.”
Pauline will have a rapt and attentive audience once she does book that job or creates that content, especially since she performed really well during her time at the Miss Supranational pageant. Pauline won second place in the pageant after making it into the finals of the Supra Chat challenge alongside fellow candidates from Canada, India, Peru, and South Africa.
Pauline was already a frontrunner for the Miss Supranational crown months before the coronation night, with her responses and votes from Filipino pageant fans making her the winner of Group 10 of the Supra Chat challenge.
Pauline then showed her question-and-answer prowess in the Supra Chat semifinal round, where she was up against candidates from the United Kingdom, Brazil, South Africa, Canada, Haiti, Romania, India, Peru, and Nicaragua.
