PENTAGON's KINO has so much love for the Philippines.

On GMA Network's "Kapuso Exclusives: Pic and Tell with Kino," the K-pop idol recalled his first trip to Cebu last year. He also expressed his affection for the Philippines. KINO lived in the country for a time when he was a child.

"It was my first time visiting Cebu. Actually, I lived in the Philippines in the past, and I visited the country a lot for vacation. It's a country I really like," he shared.

"Each city in the Philippines has a different vibe. That's why I was so excited to visit Cebu. It was as beautiful as I expected, and there was a lot of delicious food too. I love the ocean. I'm crazy for the ocean," he added.

KINO also shared how "crazy" he is about Cebu, "Cebu is crazy, right? Oh! I wanna go back. I hope I can visit again soon."

In an email interview with GMANetwork.com in December 2023, KINO expressed his desire to visit the Philippines and perform for his Filipino fans.

"I love the Philippines. I am waiting [for] the day to meet you guys face to face, hopefully soon!"

On January 8, KINO released his first all-English single "Fashion Style," along with a POV (Point of View) video. This is his first track under his own music label, NAKED.

"I am back with my new single 'Fashion Style' and I really hope you enjoy it. It's about confidence and fashion, of course, and style. Love yourself. I'm telling that I want you to love yourself in the lyrics. I hope you play it whenever you need confidence in your life. Please love and support my new single.

"And to all my Filipino [Universe], I see your love every day on my socials [and] it means a lot to me. I hope you love 'Fashion Style' as much as I do,'" KINO said.
