Kapuso host and actress Rain Matienzo was highly praised by the viewers of GMA Telebabad's historical portal fantasy series Maria Clara at Ibarra as her character Salome appeared last night, November 28.
Salome is the love interest of Elias, portrayed by Rocco Nacino, in the missing chapter of Noli Me Tangere. Dr. Jose Rizal removed the chapter from the final manuscript due to lack of funds, but the new edition of the book now contains the chapter titled "Elias at Salome."
On Twitter, the show's viewers and avid fans sang praises for Rain, and her chemistry with Rocco.
