For the first fresh episode of Pinas Sarap, Kara and her team explored the amazing foods that the Marikina City has to offer. It was shot before Typhoon Ulysses wreaked havoc in Luzon.
According to Kara, riding her bike is also part of the safety measures they followed during their shoot.
“Para po mas ligtas, nagbisikleta po ako going from one place to another. Kasi siyempre (may) social distancing kapag naka-bisikleta.”
Aside from that, they also observed basic safety protocols for shoots during the "new normal."
“('Yung) safety measures na ginawa namin ay naka-social distancing kami, tapos naka-mask at face shield kapag nagluluto. Tapos 'pag mga spiels, talagang crowd control.”
Kara also shared with the Kapuso Brigade members all the exciting things they must watch for in the upcoming fresh episodes of Pinas Sarap.
She revealed that there are two new Pinas Sarap segments called 'Ka-sarap' and 'Deliver-eat.'
“'Yung 'Ka-sarap,' ito yung ako mismo magluluto. Walang chef.
Kara also teased about a Filipino Christmas recipe that they will feature soon, which is loaded with all sorts of meat.
May chorizo, may ham, may pork at tsaka may beef. Lahat na!”
During the ZOOMustahan event, Kara also took the time to thank all her loyal Pinas Sarap viewers who continued supporting the show during the lockdown.

She also expressed her gratitude to the members of the Kapuso Brigade.
“Wala kami kung wala kayo. Kami, we can only come up with quality programs pero wala itong saysay kung hindi n'yo papanoorin.
“So, maraming-maraming salamat po sa inyo na sinusuportahan po ninyo ang Kapuso Network until now. So, thank you thank you very much sa inyo.
"Makakaasa po kayo na bilang sukli sa inyong suporta sa amin ay gagawin po naming ang lahat para makapag-come up with really beautiful documentaries, with magazine programs na talagang mag-e-enjoy kayo at matatakam kayo, 'di ba? Maraming salamat po muli sa inyo!”
