"An ode to my identity and roots: This is for every Filipino, who labors unseen, dreams across distance, and turns sacrifice into strength. How poetic is it to end my The Voice journey with a Filipino song? I am grateful," sulat niya.
"I never thought I'd enter a singing competition, let alone reality tv. Singing in the Philippines often meant belting the diva classics. The higher the note, the closer you are to God and a career in music. I have always loved singing, but when puberty hit and my voice lowered, I thought this hobby should just stay in the bathroom, behind closed doors."
