Piolo Pascual and Eman Bacosa

Piolo Pascual finally meets Manny Pacquiao's son and his look-alike, Eman Bacosa.

Starting to make a name in the boxing world, Manny Pacquiao's son, Eman Bacosa Pacquiao, has fans swooning over his looks, noting his striking resemblance to celebrities like Piolo Pascual.

On the November 9 episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, the rising boxing champ expressed his gratitude for being compared to the Kapamilya actor.

“Natutuwa po ako noong narinig ko po 'yun kasi hindi ko po 'yun naisip. Kumbaga, naka-focus lang ako sa fight tapos may sabi-sabi na, nakita ko sa comments, mga gano'n na Piolo Pacquiao daw po,” he said.

Aside from Piolo, one netizen also noticed his resemblance to Dingdong Dantes (from the side view) and Marvin Agustin (from the front view).

Later on, Piolo and Eman finally met during a shoot in Malabon. The two greeted and hugged each other warmly.

“Gusto ko pong makilala 'yung kamukha ko daw po,” Eman told Piolo.

Piolo admitted he had already seen netizens' comments about their resemblance.

“'Yung feed, puro ikaw eh. May isa akong kaibigan, sabi niya, 'Tol, mukhang may papalit na sa'yo ah,'” the actor shared.

Eman said he felt overwhelmed, as he hadn't really thought about their resemblance before.

“Syempre, natutuwa po ako na narinig ko na kamukha ko daw po kayo, tapos parang hindi ko po kasi naisip 'yun,” he said.

However, upon meeting Piolo, he admitted he now sees the resemblance.

During their conversation, they also did a brief acting exercise using one of Piolo's famous movie lines. Eman reenacted the scene, and Piolo gave his approval.

Piolo also praised Eman's boxing skills and even had a quick boxing session with him.

In the end, Piolo offered heartfelt advice to Eman as he continues to pursue his dreams as a professional boxer.

“Kung passion mo naman 'yan, gusto mo talaga, all out dapat at talagang concentrate ka lang doon, pero huwag mong kalimutan ang pag-aaral mo,” Piolo advised.

“Tuloy mo lang. You're already inspired by what your dad has achieved. Importante rin talaga na 'yung skill set mo, kumbaga, you never rest on your laurels,” he added. “Galingan mo pa, okay 'yan. I think every defeat should mean something—should encourage you to strive for something better. Kasi hindi naman laging victory, hindi naman laging panalo, 'di ba? Ibigay mo lang 'yung puso at passion mo doon.”

Eman, on the other hand, wished Piolo to “continue to serve God” and keep improving in acting.

Meanwhile, Piolo recently entered Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 alongside Joshua Garcia as a houseguest.

Eman started gaining attention after his latest match at Thrilla in Manila 2, held at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, on October 29. He defeated Nico Salado of Bohol by unanimous decision, with judges scoring the bout 58-55, 58-55, and 60-53.
