Kapuso actress and comedienne Pokwang is one of the recipients of the Gawad Pilipino 'Babae Ka Awards.'
Kapuso actress and comedienne Pokwang recently received a well-deserved recognition at the Gawad Pilipino “Babae Ka Awards.”
In an Instagram post by Sparkle GMA Artist Center, the celebrity mom can be seen holding her award at the event while clad in a beautiful green Filipiniana outfit. In the post, the Kapuso network's talent management arm congratulated Pokwang on her achievement.
“Congratulations to Pokwang for the well-deserved recognition at the Gawad Pilipino “BABAE KA AWARDS”! This award-giving body celebrates exceptional Filipinas across diverse fields in celebration of International Women's Month,” the caption reads.
Pokwang was recognized as part of the "Mga Natatanging Pilipina sa Larangan ng Sining."
In a separate post, the seasoned comedienne thanked the award-giving body for the recognition.
“Thank you #GawadPilipino #BabaeKaAward #womenempowerment #womensmonth Isa pong karangalan,” she wrote.
Aside from this, the actress' MMFF 2023 film Becky and Badette, which also starred Eugene Domingo, is coming to Netflix this April.
