Pokwang is set to take on the theater stage with her upcoming musical!
Pokwang will soon conquer a different stage, as she is set to make her theatrical debut with the upcoming musical, Tulog Na.
Local theater production company Studio A Productions on Friday announced that the actress-host will be joining Tulog Na: The Musical for her first theater performance
Studio A Productions shared on Instagram a chilling and eerie trailer of the upcoming musical, which featured a frightened-looking Pokwang.
“Marking MARIETTA 'POKWANG' SUBONG's debut theatrical performance, this haunting musical seeks to shake you to your core with realizations about life and death,” the production company wrote in the caption.
Tulog Na, a box office hit straight play that will return as a musical, is said to feature a “story that whispers tales of living life to the fullest before the night falls.”
Directed by Jef Albea and written by Danna Bernardino, the musical will feature Sugarfree's song “Tulog Na.”
The Tulog Na: The Musical will run from August 14 to 16 and from August 21 to 23 at the Powermac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater at Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati City.

Meanwhile, Pokwang is also part of this year's Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival for the film 2 Valid IDs.
