Former Centerstage judge Pops Fernandez appealed for help on Instagram page to report a certain Facebook account using the name of her son Ram Nievera without his consent.
The seasoned OPM singer posted some screenshots of the fake FB account, where one could see a false testimonial of Ram and his battle with brain aneurysm.
Pops noted that this account has affected her career and reputation.
“A fake Facebook account is using my son Ram Nievera's name and our family photos to scam people and spread false information.
"These posts have caused harm to my family and affected my career and reputation.”
Pops then warned those involved in the fake Facebook page that she is ready to take legal actions against them if they will not stop using their images and spreading false information.
“I strongly condemn these actions. My team has already reported and removed some of these accounts, and I ask those responsible to stop using our images and posting false content. If this continues, we will take legal action.” Pops stressed.
She added, “The safety and well-being of my family are my top priorities, and we will do everything we can to protect ourselves from exploitation or harassment.”
Back in May 2021, Pops Fernandez revealed online that Ram had a “health scare” and he needed to be confined in the hospital for some treatment.
“Something unexpected happened to Ram last week. We had a scare. He was brought to the hospital and tests were done.
“We worried, we cried and we prayed... a lot!”
“I am posting cause Ram is recovering very well. We thank our family and friends who have prayed for Ram, and are continuously praying for him. We are so grateful and relieved.
