If you feel like venturing outdoors this weekend, then you might want to drop by at the Salcedo Community Market for some great food.
Take note though that the famed community market will be moving to a new location starting on Saturday, June 19.
The market is not moving too far, however, From Jaime C. Velasquez Park in Salcedo Village, the market will now transfer just outside the park to Tordesillas and Tolledo Streets in Makati City.
The park will undergo renovation and enhancement works, and will be closed to the public until the tail end of the year.
“The market area will be cordoned off for security purposes and COVID-19 safety protocols will be fully enforced,” Salcedo Market posted on social media.
“No dining area for the first Saturday of our move.”
The Salcedo Community Market has been around since 2004.
The Saturday market hosts a wide variety of stalls selling mostly food ranging from organic fruits and vegetables, baked items, and Filipino and international delicacies including street food.
More importantly, it gives entrepreneurs running small and medium ventures a place to sell their products and build customer base.
