Fabio just wants the best for his daughter and has no bad blood with ex-girlfriend Denise Oca.

Brazilian-Japanese model Fabio Ide is a picture of a proud father.

But his baby’s mother and current girlfriend are not on good terms. Whose side will he be on?

Fatherhood

Fabio told Startalk, “Finally, I was able to open [up] that I’m the daddy of a beautiful little girl, my baby girl, si Danielle Mikayla. It’s a new phase of my life now as a father. I’m just really excited.”

“It’s a beautiful feeling. It’s just an amazing feeling, you know. First, I didn’t expect to have a kid in this circumstance. Usually, you expect to get married first, but sometimes, life gives you challenges and sometimes things happen and you are not prepared yet,” he added.

Danielle Mikayla was born last April 29. The mother of his child is Denise Oca, daughter of Melissa Mendez.

Denise was previously linked to football player Phil Younghusband. There were even speculations that Phil fathered Denise’s child, but Denise’s mom, Melissa, vehemently denied it.

Fabio and Denise are no longer together, but he is willing to do whatever it takes to be a good father to their daughter.

“I told Denise already and I will definitely put my name on the kid. She will have my love and she will have everything she deserves. Even though we are not together, we are good friends and we have to work as a team so Danielle can have the best,” he said.

Denise Oca vs. Michelle Pamintuan

Fabio’s current girlfriend, Michelle Pamintuan, recently reacted strongly on Instagram when Denise’s mom, Melissa, posted photos from baby Danielle’s baptism, with both Fabio and Denise in them.

Denise sent an official statement to Startalk.

Part of it reads, “Michelle insists that we agreed to keep the baptism private but this is not true. About the photos that my mom posted, but it was his foul-mouthed girlfriend who did all the complaining and started posting rude comments on my mom’s posts.”

Michelle’s alleged Instagram posts read, “Omg Denise your mom is the most evil person I’ve ever encountered in my life.”

“Fabio and I were just talking last night and again this morning how AGAIN he wished and I wished too that he never had this baby.”

“He wished he could go back in time and sana you had an abortion. What you’re (sic) mom is doing is not helping.”

Fabio reacts

When asked how he felt about the rift between Denise and Michelle, Fabio said, “What happened between them is really sad. Of course, I was really upset. I gave Michelle the chance for her to understand, to support me, to be on my side, and in fairness to her, she was really supportive.”

He added, “Unfortunately maybe because of anger, I really don’t understand why she did actually write that, but I can’t really blame her anymore. What she did was really hurtful. Denise is sad, the mom is sad, but right now, I’m trying not to focus on that. I’m just trying to focus on my kid and that’s it. I forgave Michelle already, you know, for what she said.”

True enough, Fabio couldn’t be any less focused on his baby, Danielle.

He said, “She’s very, very beautiful. She’s got my eyes, she’s very like white, she’s a beautiful baby and I’m very, very proud father. I can’t wait for my family from Brazil to come here and visit her. They’ve been following by pictures, Instagram, Skype…”

“She’s already a happy baby. I checked the pictures on Instagram. You can see, she’s smiling all the time, she’s already trying to speak,” he added.

“’Yung baby ko, mahal na mahal ko,” declared Fabio.

Message for Denise

At this point, Fabio just wants the best for his daughter and has no bad blood with Denise.

He wants her to know, “Well, Denise, I’m sure you’re right there at home now taking care of Danielle. I just want you to know that I’m very proud of you. You have my support as your friend and also as the father of your daughter. Take care.”
