RB Chanco celebrated with Kris Aquino on her 55th birthday with an emotional and heartfelt message.
Celebrity makeup artist RB Chanco made Queen of All Media Kris Aquino's 55th birthday even more special by joining in their traditional birthday salubong.
On Instagram, Kris's longtime friend shared photos and videos with the TV host as she visited Kris once again to celebrate her milestone birthday.
“Happy 55th birthday, Kris,” she greeted.
“It made me so happy that this year you were able to share our traditional salubong with us again. Watching you enjoy your favorite food and desserts, and hearing your voice in the middle of the room, felt like something familiar finally found its way back,” she joyfully shared.
RB revealed that she knew how much strength Kris had to muster just to celebrate with them.
“I saw the Lupus flares, the butterfly rash we gently worked around, and even with the swelling from the steroids your skin was still so pristine your makeup was basically done, just kilay,” she shared.
The makeup artist said that the time Kris gave them “meant everything,” even when her migraine sent her back to bed.
“After years of birthdays spent bedridden, this one felt like a small light turning on. Not loud or grand, just steady and hopeful, the kind that makes us believe better days are slowly coming,” she said.
At the end of her birthday message, RB expressed her love for Kris and wished her continued healing so they could make more memories together.
“I love you very much. I pray your body keeps healing little by little, that comfort replaces the pain, and that we keep gathering like this for many more birthdays with you beside us,” she concluded.
Recently, RB also celebrated Kris's return to vlogging with a hospital visit. Kris has also recently moved into her new home in Tarlac with her kids, Josh and Bimby.
RB first reunited with Kris when she did her makeup for her surprise appearance at PeopleAsia's People of the Year 2025 on February 25.
RB has been Kris's go-to makeup artist for her glamorous looks over the years.
