LIST: Canceled flights on Feb. 28 and March 1, 2026 amid Middle East tensions
Flag carrier Philippine Airlines canceled several flights to and from the Middle East following strikes launched by the United States and Israel on Iran on Saturday, February 28.

In an advisory, PAL said it canceled these flights "due to restrictions in flight operations in the concerned Middle East stations."
PAL also implemented flight diversions.
- PR654 (Manila – Riyadh), which departed Manila on Saturday, will return to Manila and arrive 10:40 p.m. local time.
- PR658 (Manila – Dubai), which also departed Manila on Saturday, will return to Manila and arrive 9:52 p.m. local time.
Cebu Pacific
"To ensure the safety and well-being of our passengers and crew, Flight 5J 14, which departed for Dubai on February 28, will return to Manila and is estimated to arrive at 10:45 p.m. Consequently, its return service, Flight 5J 15, has been canceled," Cebu Pacific said in an advisory.
"Flights 5J 14/15 Manila-Dubai-Manila scheduled for March 1 are also canceled."
Meanwhile, New NAIA Infra Corp. urged travelers to check their flight status before proceeding to the airport.
"Passengers are encouraged to contact their airline directly for the latest updates, confirm their booking before travel, and ensure their contact details are updated to receive notifications," NNIC said.
"Families and friends meeting arriving passengers are likewise advised to verify arrival times with the airline before heading to the airport, as schedules may change."
