Alden Richards has a great way of inspiring kids.

Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards find it slightly difficult to handle kids' behavior nowadays, this much he revealed at the recent media conference of Centerstage where the Kapuso actor is one of the hosts.

"Mahirap po siyang gawin,' says Alden answering showbiz reporter Lhar Santiago's question on how he deals with the kids' behavior and emotions during the show.

He continued: 'Kasi 'yung mga millennials po ngayon, 'yung mga bata ngayon iba na po sila, e. Hindi na sila 'yung usual. Hindi na sila 'yung kinagisnan kong way of behavior ng mga bata,” Alden admitted.

It's a good thing that Alden was able to hone his holistic hosting skills as part of the longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga.

“Medyo may struggle kung paano magtimpla. It was a good thing po talaga na I was really able to do 'Eat Bulaga!'. It really gave me a holistic training in hosting and impromptu banters especially with people.

He added, “Siyempre 'yung mga bata are here to sing. 'Di naman sila nandito to host, so that's my job. 'Yun po 'yung trabaho ko rito sa 'Centerstage' is to make the conversation fluid with the kids, at the same time, encourage them to be better regardless kung matalo man o manalo sila.”

Meanwhile, Alden relates how he encourages and inspires the kids by sharing with them his own success story.

"A way of talking to these kids para mas maging inspired sila is I share my own story. I share my life story, paano ako napunta dito ngayon. Ano'ng mga struggles and failures ang mga dinaanan ko."

Centerstage is set to premiere on February 16 on GMA Telebabad.
