
The year 2018 was a balance between the good and the bad for Julie Anne San Jose.

In recent media interview, the 24-year-old Kapuso singer said that she has chosen to move on from all the bad events that happened in her life in 2018.
Julie Anne is especially thankful to all the people who stood by her during the times she was feeling down.
"Nakatulong 'yung trabaho talaga, parang iyon 'yung naging outlet ko," says Julie Anne. "I've got my family with me, I've got friends na nand'yan for me to support me. There's a lot of ways to better yourself," she said.
Julie also got help from her first love: music.
"Music for me, 'yun 'yung isa sa mga paraan para maka-cope up ako sa isang situation. -- Lahat naman ng hugot natin sa buhay, minsan nadadaan natin sa kanta. I think it's better if you write it down and make more music."
Nevertheless, the Studio 7 host is thankful for the memories and the lessons.
"I think may mga ganoon talaga na bagay na minsan hindi talaga nag-wo-work. So I think it's best for us [to break up.]"
For her next relationship, Julie said that she wants to be a better person. But for now, she aims to focus more on her music and craft this year.
In her Cover Stories feature by GMANewsonline, Julie Anne San Jose said that she intends to take life one day at a time.
“I'm a patient person. I'm not really in rush. Wala akong timeline and I'm really just enjoying whatever's happening now,” she said.
