To celebrate the Mental Health Awareness Month this May, Kylie wrote an encouraging message to people who are suffering from mental illness.

“If there is anything I have learned from my journey, it is to be kind to yourself and to let yourself feel the emotions you need to feel to ultimately heal,” she wrote on Instagram.

“It is having the courage to know nothing is perfect and that forgiveness is one of the most powerful things you'll ever learn.”

Kylie added that forgiving others is important but forgiving yourself is more important.

“Take it easy,” she added. “Your journey is your own. Your little triumphs matter, even no one is watching.”

“Big HUG.”
