On October 28, seasoned actress Aiko Melendez and boyfriend Zambales vice governor Jay Khonghun celebrated their 3rd anniversary.
In a lengthy message on Facebook, the Prima Donnas actress thanked Jay for being the wind beneath her wings.
She wrote, "I want to thank you for encouraging me to do my best,I want to thank you for believing in me when I can't even believe in myself."
Aiko's children, Andre Yllana and Marthena Jickain, are also supportive of their mom's relationship with their 'Tito Jay.'

Seasoned actress Aiko Melendez is in a happy relationship with Jay Khonghun.
Jay is currently the vice governor of the province of Zambales. In his capacity as vice governor, Jay also presides the sessions of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Zambales.
Before being elected as vice governor, Jay served as mayor of Subic, Zambales from 2010-2019.
Jay came from the prominent Khonghun family. His father, Jeffrey Khonghun, is the representative of the first district of Zambales while his brother, Jon Khonghun, succeded him as mayor of Subic.
The two children of Aiko Melendez, Andre Yllana and Marthena Jickain, are very supportive of their mother's love life.
In fact, Andre and Marthena fondly call him 'Tito Jay.'
Aiko and Jay became a couple in October 2017. Back then, Jay was the mayor of Subic, Zambales.
After three years, Aiko and Jay's relationship remains strong as they recently celebrated their anniversary.
In her anniversary message, Aiko thanks Jay for his support in her career as an actress. She writes, 'I want to thank you for encouraging me to do my best, I want to thank you for believing in me when I can't even believe in myself. We have our ups and downs, we get annoyed with each other, [but] one thing I'm certain about is I wouldn't want this with another [man]."
In her vlog, Aiko reveals that they have plans of getting married. She says, "Si VG Jay? Pakakasalan ko siya. Pakakasalan ko 'yan sa anumang simbahan."
