Ruffa Gutierrez reveals ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas wanted to marry her again

Actress Ruffa Gutierrez recently revealed that her ex-husband, Yilmaz Bektas, has expressed a desire to remarry her.
At a press conference for her newest brand endorsement, Ruffa confessed that she initially believed he was just kidding.
"He couldn't find someone like me and kept searching all over the world. In fact, he wanted to propose and marry me again. I initially thought he was joking," she said, reported by Pilipino STAR Ngayon.
“Sabi ko, 'Is this a joke?' [Sabi ni Yilmaz], 'No, I want to invite you to be in a train with me' and mag-train daw kami all over Europe. So, sabi ko, 'Totoo ba 'to or baka he's planning my murder on the plane or train,” she said jokingly,
“At least, we've come to that decision and we can joke and be happy with one another,” she said.
“I always wish Yilmaz well. And I always wish that he becomes successful in life kasi his success is also the success of my kids. Ano lang kami, we're best friends now… Si Yilmaz, alam mo, kahit na saang lupalop siyang umikot sa buong mundo, iisa lang ang Ruffa at alam niya yun,” she shared with the media present.
However, Ruffa insists she is not assuming he wants to seriously rekindle their relationship.
Ruffa and Yilmaz got married in 2003 but parted ways in 2007.
In 2024, Ruffa confirmed she and Herbert Bautista are in a relationship.
