Yilmaz Bektas to visit the Philippines, addresses proposal rumors with Ruffa Gutierrez

Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas has set the record straight amid rumors of a proposal with his ex-wife Ruffa Gutierrez.
On Instagram Stories, Yilmaz released a brief statement confirming the recent news about him circulating in the media.
"I would like to say, Yes, these news are true. I will be visiting the Philippines soon," he wrote.
Previously, Ruffa revealed Yilmaz's plans to propose to her again during the press conference for her new endorsement.
"He couldn't find someone like me and kept searching all over the world. In fact, he wanted to propose and marry me again. I initially thought he was joking," she said, reported by Pilipino STAR Ngayon.
“Sabi ko, 'Is this a joke?' [Sabi ni Yilmaz], 'No, I want to invite you to be in a train with me' and mag-train daw kami all over Europe. So, sabi ko, 'Totoo ba 'to or baka he's planning my murder on the plane or train,” she teased.
“At least, we've come to that decision and we can joke and be happy with one another,” she said.
She added, “I always wish Yilmaz well. And I always wish that he becomes successful in life kasi his success is also the success of my kids. Ano lang kami, we're best friends now… Si Yilmaz, alam mo, kahit na saang lupalop siyang umikot sa buong mundo, iisa lang ang Ruffa at alam niya 'yun."
Ruffa and Yilmaz tied the knot in 2003 but went their separate ways in 2007.
