Kapuso couple Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto filmed a mukbang and Q&A for their latest video.
While they were eating their spicy noodles and tapa, one fan asked Barbie and Jak if they both were fans of eating ramen or one influenced the other.
In answering the fan's question, Jak recalled a funny story that happened during their first date where they ate ramen.
"Actually, ako 'yung nag-introduce sa kaniya 'nung ramen 'nung first date namin. So 'nung first date namin, date na ba 'yon? 'Di namin inamin, niyaya ko lang siya manood ng movie, tapos sinabi ko na may masarap na ramen, mag-lunch tayo doon, introduce ko sa kaniya.
"Sabi ko papa-try ko sa kaniya 'yung ramen na 'yon, tapos after 'nun, nagustuhan na niya. Kasi may level of spicy 'eh, sabi ko 'Barbs maanghang na 'yung level three niyan.'
"[Sabi niya,] 'Hindi, mahilig ako sa maanghang 'eh, baka mabitin ako sa anghang.' Tapos ginawang level four.
"Sabi ko baka mahilig talaga sa maanghang, hinayaan ko lang. So sinerve, kain kain ako tapos siya hingi nang hingi ng tubig sa waiter. Nagbigay nga ng isang pitsel 'yung waiter para siya na magsalin sa sarili niya. Tapos mas nabusog siya sa tubig, hindi niya naubos, ang anghang 'eh," he said.
After that first date, Jak and Barbie frequent that ramen house as it became a favorite of theirs. This time however, Barbie sticks to a more manageable level of spice.
