Pauleen Luna says 34-year age gap with Vic Sotto is not an issue

In every marriage, it takes two to tango.

This is true for celebrity power couple Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna, who made sure that despite their 34-year age gap, they built a strong foundation for their relationship rooted in respect.

In her Instagram post last September 18, Pauleen was pondering on the question asked by Luchi Cruz-Valdes during their guesting for her show.

The veteran broadcaster wanted to discuss the thirty-decade age gap between Pauleen and Bossing, one of the pioneers of Eat Bulaga.

She wrote, “She asked me "How do you deal with the age gap?" I wasn't able to give a good answer because i honestly do not feel the 'gap' that we have.”

Pauleen went on to explain that the “age gap” between her and her husband doesn't really matter, since Vic respects her and gave her a sense of security in their relationship.

“That afternoon, i thought hard about that question and i came up with an answer, a real answer.

“My husband loves me very much and gives me a certain kind of confidence and security about our relationship but i think the thing i love most about him is the amount of respect he gives me.” says Pauleen, who tied the knot with the seasoned comedian and host in 2016.

She added, “He respects my life decisions, he respects my room to grow and he respects me like an equal.

“Never did i hear my husband raise his voice and felt like i was younger and didn't matter.

“I always felt validated. I always feel important around him. Respect plays a big role in any relationship. I know deep in my heart that it's one of the main reasons why this relationship is so easy.”

Pauleen and Vic are still madly in love with each other and are blessed with a wonderful daughter named Tali, who was born in November 2017.
