JUST IN: Ace setter Jia Morado is engaged to businessman Miguel de Guzman

Former Ateneo Lady Eagles star setter Jia Morado will soon walk down the aisle after getting engaged with her businessman boyfriend Miguel de Guzman.

Jia, who competed for the Philippine women's national team during the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, posted a photo of her with Miguel on Instagram showing off her dazzling engagement ring.

The proposal happened on a beautiful Thursday morning at exactly 11:11 A.M.

In a report by SPIN.Ph, Miguel helps out on several business ventures of his family like their gasoline stations and trucking ventures.

And just like his fiancée, he is a former athlete, too, playing baseball for De La Salle Zobel.

Several volleyball athletes reacted to Jia's engagement including Thai volleyball superstar Nootsara Tomkom.

The hashtag JiaGuel also became top trending topic on Twitter Philippines, with so many people sending well-wishes to the newly-engaged couple.
