Donnalyn Bartolome cries her heart out after her ex-BF returned her stuff
Popular Filipino YouTuber Donnalyn Bartolome published quite a different unboxing video on her YouTube channel to celebrate the day of the dead.
Titled “MY EX RETURNED ALL MY STUFF (Unboxing: Araw ng patay kong puso special),” it showed Donnalyn opening a box filled with all her items from her ex-boyfriend.
According to the social media personality, she kept her romance hidden from the public because her then-boyfriend didn't want to be in the spotlight.
“It's your first time hearing this from me because I've been avoiding this for a very long time. But, the time has come for me to unbox the stuff my ex returned to me,” she said.
“I was very open that I'm with someone pero private talaga 'yung relationship namin. This person I'm with isn't really into being known.
“But being with me, you can't be a private person kasi damay ka na, especially if you're in my vlogs. That's why my now ex, it didn't work out with the two of us.”

On Instagram, Donna penned her goodbye letter for “D'ex,” the portmanteau of her name and the word ex, as she wished him to meet a better person than her.
“To D'ex, though I hope you wait another 6 months before replacing me hahaha, I still wish you find the right one who can give you everything I can't. I'm sorry what I could give wasn't enough,” she said.
“I'm sorry for not being enough or not being the right one for you. I tried even if it meant I would lose myself because the happiness you brought into my life was such a blessing.
“I prayed about you every night, thanking Him for bringing you into my life. Your existence and your love were what helped me keep going when I wanted to give up. That's why I love you enough to let you go.”
Donnalyn continued to say that their relationship was definitely memorable, given that they spent almost 6 years together.
“I now accept that the kind of love I give isn't right for you.. for us. It might not be the right kind, but it's true. I didn't know peace would cost this much, and I don't know when I'll breathe again or when I'll stop missing you.. or think of you.
“All I know is I don't want to ever see us hurt each other again, and though I'm terrified I'll regret leaving, if it means you'll find The One I was trying to be for years, then I'll be bitter and angry hahaha jk.
“I know I'll be okay because my love for you is true and true love is when you want the one you love to be happy even if it means it's not with you.”
