Ice Seguerra and Liza Diño mark 6th wedding anniversary
On December 9, 2020, Ice Seguerra and his wife Liza Diño officially marked their 6th wedding anniversary together.
To celebrate, the couple initially planned for a full-day of romance but had to cancel last minute due to their conflicting schedules.
Ice writes on Instagram, “6 years na kami ni misis na mag-asawa!
“May plano kami na mag Tagaytay yesterday till today para makapagromansa kaso kailangan namin mag-shoot. So, nagpa-book siya today sa Shang BGC para maituloy ang date kaso may napakaimportanteng meeting with the Korean Film Council so we had to rebook.
“In short, ni-isa sa mga plano namin walang natuloy.”
This, in turn, made Ice realize the magic of their relationship as husband and wife.
“What happened today sums up our life together. Napakarami naming plano na hindi pa natutuloy because something got in the way. From the smallest travel boo-boos to having a baby,” he said.
“Siguro, kung iba yan, nag-away na. That's what I love about our relationship; kahit ano man ang dumating, naiiba man ang plano paminsan minsan, we go through it together.”
Ice continued, “Situations change all the time kaya I'm just blessed na magkasama kami para harapin ang bawat pagbabago na dumarating nang bukas ang puso at isipan. We have learned to accept and find ways to enjoy and make the most out of all the changes that come our way.
“It takes a special person to do that… and I'm glad she's my wife.
“Happy anniversary, my dearest wife. Ikaw lang… sapat na.”
In a follow-up post, Ice gave his fans a glimpse of their special date night that he wouldn't trade for anything else.
On December 9, 2014, Ice Seguerra married Liza Diño in an intimate ceremony in San Francisco after getting engaged 10 months earlier.
The two became friends in 1998, through Liza's then-boyfriend, who was taping a show with Ice.
In an interview with Tunay na Buhay, Liza said of her relationship, “There's this whole surge of feeling na ito na 'yon, that whole reality of being with that one.”
