Radio jock and former 'Eat Bulaga' host Sam YG and her non-showbiz girlfriend Essa Santos became an official couple on April 28, 2018.
Radio jock and former Eat Bulaga host Sam YG is next in line to get married as he announced that he is now engaged to her non-showbiz girlfriend Esssa Santos.
The Indian-Filipino personality shared the good news on his Instagram account on Tuesday, January 26.
Sam posted a photo where he is seen kneeling on one knee while showing the ring in front of his girlfriend in a dreamy proposal setup.
Sam wrote in the caption, "Essa YES [ring emoji} #SignedSealedDelivered #ThatsItPansit #SwerteKoLang"
Essa, on the other hand, expressed how surprised she was when Sam popped the question.
She wrote on Instagram, "Kung kelan naka pambahay lang...
"I ugly-cried the whole time. Have to say I did not expect this proposal at all--I kinda wish I did para mas prepared ako, but it makes for a great story anyway!
"It was always gonna be an 'of course,' my love... Thank you for this wonderful-amazing experience. I am truly the luckiest girl! I love you in all ways, always [heart emojis.]"
According to her Facebook account, Essa is a corporate marketing head of a financing company. She also works as the general manager of beauty pageant Miss Asia Pacific International.
Sam and Essa became an official couple on May 1, 2018.
