JK on his relationship with Maureen Wroblewitz: "Magka-ibigan na ngayo'y matalik na magkaibigan."
"Buwan" singer JK Labajo and Asia's Next Top Model alumna Maureen Wroblewitz confirmed their breakup on Instagram today, June 10.
Maureen first hinted about the breakup when she posted a quote card on Instagram saying “Life is not happening to you. Life is happening for you.”
The Miss Universe Philippines 2021 first runner-up then captioned her post, “Some things come to an end and that's okay. but now it's time for us to grow on our own.”
The celebrity seemed to have an amicable split as JK commented on Maureen's post, "I am the luckiest person in the world to have spent the past years of my life with you and I wouldn't choose anybody else to have spent those years with. You've taught me so much and I have learned, I am learning, and I will learn more.”
JK added that he wants Maureen to succeed and achieve her dreams, too.
“We are both so young and we have to enjoy ourselves. I want to see you succeed. I love seeing you achieve your dreams. You will. We will. Here's to growth and love for ourselves. For there is no greater love than self-love. Dankëschon, Ich liebe dich and auf wiedersehen.”
Maureen also replied to Labajo's comment and thanked him as well.

Likewise, on his Instagram post, JK posted an intimate photo with his beauty queen ex-girlfriend.
His caption directly confirmed their breakup, "Magka-ibigan na ngayo'y matalik na magkaibigan. Lagi mong tandaan na kahit pagbaliktarin mo man ang mundo, kahit saang lupalop man ng kalawakan, ikaw parin ang nagiisa kong buwan. Maraming salamat, mahal kita, at hanggang sa muli. ❤️"
