Aside from the shocking twists and intriguing turns, what makes GMA all-original singing competition The Clash truly exciting is the way the judges deliver their comments.
The Clash panel, composed of Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha, Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista, and Comedy Concert Queen Aiai Delas Alas, would dish out the best sound advice that the Clashers must know.
As a talented singer herself, it has become natural for Lani to demonstrate how such songs should be performed.
One notable instance was when she heard The Clash Season 3 contestant Mariella Sun's rendition of the Whitney Houston hit "Saving All My Love For You."
Lani said that Mariella did a good job. However, the versatile singer thought it lacked sexiness.
"That song for me is really sexy so I was expecting that you're gonna put a little bit of sexiness in your interpretation of the song," Lani commented.
The tension decreased as Lani's fellow judges Aiai and Christian put her on the spot and urged to do a sample of "Saving All My Love For You" to show everyone how it was supposed to be done. As expected, Lani did not fail to wow the audience.
Christian and Aiai then applauded Asia's Nightingale and joked that Clashers should be afraid of her because she's the season's frontrunner.
The winner of the third season of The Cash, as we all know, is Cebu's Jessica Villarubin, who is now considered one of the most talented Kapuso singers. Jessica now takes pride in sharing the stage with Lani and other Kapuso vocal powerhouse in GMA weekly musical variety show All-Out Sundays.
