Richard Poon to his wife, actress Maricar Reyes, on their 13th wedding anniversary: “Thanks for saying yes to me.”
Celebrity couple Richard Poon and Maricar Reyes recently celebrated their 13th year as husband and wife.
In an Instagram post, the singer shared a photo of his spouse as well as their couple photo that was taken at the place where they had their first date. Along with these, Richard penned a heartwarming message for Maricar to mark their special day.
“This year's wedding anniversary, I planned no fancy celebrations. I just brought you back to where we had our first date in 2009. Can you believe we haven't been back to this place 17 years passed already?
“This was the exact corner of the coffee shop where I first asked you out on our [first] date. I couldn't forget, you wore a yellow dress,” he wrote.
He added, “17 years later, on the exact same spot, you [are] still so stunningly beautiful. But more beautiful the private simple person inside that shared life with me [for] 17 years now. Thanks for saying yes to me. Happy 13th wedding anniversary, my best friend & love of my life, @maricareyespoon!”
Richard Poon and Maricar Reyes tied the knot in June 2013 in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
Meanwhile, Maricar is a part of the upcoming Kapuso drama series Whispers From Heaven.
