Kapuso actor Richard Yap has only good words to say about Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista.

This 2021, Richard is one of Heart's two leading men in the upcoming Kapuso series, I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.

"Nakaka-excite talaga sa akin is working with Heart," Richard told GMANetwork.com during the Kapuso Brigade Zoomustahan virtual event.

"Kasi dati rati pa, I've always looked up to her. She's one of the fashion icons.

"At tsaka, talagang one of the leading ladies that I've always wanted to work with.

"I'm really excited na magkatrabaho kami."

Aside from Heart, Richard is also excited to explore the beautiful province of Sorsogon, where Heart's husband, Chiz Escudero, currently serves as governor.

In a previous interview, Heart said that I Left My Heart in Sorsogon will feature some of Sorsogon's tourist attractions, such as the Sorsogon State College Library, Pili farms, and many beaches.

Richard added, "And also, I'm really excited to go to Sorsogon because hindi pa ako nakapunta doon.

"I've been to other parts of [Bicol like] Legaspi, Albay pero hindi pa ako nakakapunta ng Sorsogon.

"It's something new for me, and itong lock-in taping din, medyo matagal-tagal doon, so I'm sure we'll be able to explore Sorsogon."

In preparation for his role in the series, Richard said that he wanted to become a little bit more fit.

"Well, ako nagpapapayat ako kasi si Heart is very petite. Baka masyado akong malaki tingnan kapag katabi ko siya.

"So kailangan magpapayat muna ako, 'yun ang main goal ko ngayon before the lock-in taping." he said in jest.

During the community quarantine, Heart have been going around in Sorsogon to personally deliver some of her donations to the local residents there. Aside from this, she has also been doing some visits to the province's must-see places.
