Rocco Nacino is fully focused and preparing hard for his role in Hari ng Tondo!

Rocco Nacino recently shared in an interview with the noontime news program Balitanghali that he is already undergoing intense, rigorous preparation for his upcoming role in the highly anticipated action-drama series, Hari ng Tondo.

In this new project, Rocco is set to take on the antagonist role of Rafael Salud. His character is expected to serve as a major thorn in the sides of the show's main leads, played by Kapuso Primetime Action Hero Ruru Madrid and Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo.

According to the actor, he is pouring all of his focus and energy into crafting this character.

He further teased that Rafael Salud will be making a massive impact right from the start, entering the story during a defining and highly anticipated moment in the upcoming series' pilot week.

“Pagpasok ng character ko, sa isang defining moment ng week one, kaya pinaghahandaan pa!” Rocco said.

Rocco also mentioned that he is now fully embracing his “villain era,” largely due to his portrayal of this particular character in the upcoming series.

He even offered a brief teaser for the audience, hinting that viewers will find themselves gripping their seats in frustration and grinding their teeth in anger because of the irritation and chaos his character is bound to bring to the show.

“Niyayakap ko talaga ang kontrabida era ko. Magngingitngit ang mga viewers sa character ko na 'to,” the actor shared.

Aside from sharing the screen with Ruru and Dennis, Rocco joins a stellar, star-studded ensemble cast that features some of the industry's biggest names, including Ryza Cenon, Victor Neri, Gary Estrada, Isko Moreno, Ysabel Ortega, Elle Villanueva, Arra San Agustin, and Heath Jornales.

Beyond his commitments on television, the Kapuso actor is also set to make waves on the big screen. The versatile actor will be headlining the upcoming film Tirik, which has been selected as an official entry to the prestigious 2026 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival.
