
Rocco Nacino graduates today, October 26, from his basic citizen's military training under Philippine Navy to become a fully-fledged navy reservist.
In an exclusive interview during his contract signing with Kapuso Foundation last October 23, the Descendants of the Sun actor expressed relief after finishing 15 sessions of rigorous training and lectures.

"Isipin mo na galing akong taping deretso ako do'n.
“We have fitness examination, lectures.
“Kanina, I had my final physical fitness test.
“May mga kasama 'kong commanders na gumagawa rin ng exercises.
“Medyo masakit nga tuhod ko ngayon, pero it's part of it. Pwede na ko isabak," Rocco shared.
One of his first duties as a navy reservist was to give a talk about patriotism to college freshmen.

He shared, "Actually, sinabak na ko sa La Salle, talking to the freshmen students of La Salle.
“Naibahagi ko sa kanila 'yung story ko.
“At the same time, kung bakit gusto naming makapag-instill ng patriotism as early as their age.
“Sabi ko, it's a different kind of journey na magkaroon ng ganitong discipline, of course, to eliminate entitlement.
“Sad to say, 'yun ang kadalasan sa generation ngayon, sa millennial age.
“So, I can be of service and of influence sa mga kabataan na, 'Hey you can be a good person by serving the country. You want to use the social media to do good.'"
