Rocco Nacino to KAIA Sophia after 'Stars on the Floor' journey: "Grateful to have a new friend in you!"
As Season 2 of Stars on the Floor came to a close, Rocco Nacino shared a heartfelt appreciation post for his duo partner, KAIA Sophia.
In an Instagram post, the Kapuso star expressed his gratitude to Sophia for their journey together as a permanent duo in the competition.
"To my partner/final duo @sophiaamercado_ , thank you for trusting in me to be your partner in this competition," he said.
Rocco shared that despite not achieving the result they had hoped for, he believes they will still be able to "achieve big dreams outside this show together with new friends and opportunities."
"It was a good run, and a fun one. Grateful to have a new friend in you!" he added.
He also promised to support Sophia and her group in their future endeavors.
"Asahan mo ang suporta ko para sa iyo at sa @kaia.officialph," he said. "Ppop all the way up!"
Rocco also thanked everyone who supported Team SOCCO throughout their journey.
"To our detectives ng team SOCCO, salamat sa pagmamahal at tiwala, dahil sa inyo, lagi naman naaalala na walang SO-SOCCO, (Thank you @seanlucas__), thank you for the strength and roars every taping!" he expressed.
"To our friends and families, salamat sa suporta ninyo at sa pagtitiyaga sa schedules namin ni Sophia. Sa mga araw na kailangan mag-rehearse halos araw araw, thank you sa sakripisyo at pasensya @gohingmelissa!" he continued.
Toward the end of his post, the actor also thanked the production team and their finale coach, Angel Datanagan.
"Coach @angeldatanagan , thank you thank you sa tiwala. Hanga ako sa talento and guidance na binibigay ko sa assigned duo mo. Looking forward to all your accomplishments in the future! SLAYYYY!" he said.
"Salamat, @starsonthefloorgma. #SOCCO, out!" he concluded.
Sophia is part of the P-pop dance stars lineup and is a member of the girl group KAIA.
Sugar Mercado and HORI7ON Jeromy were named the Ultimate Dance Star Duo of Stars on the Floor 2026.
