Glaiza De Castro, Miguel Tanfelix and Kokoy de Santos

To celebrate Father's Day this June 16, Glaiza De Castro, Miguel Tanfelix, and Kokoy de Santos share some heartwarming stories about their awesome dads.

In a few days, the whole nation will celebrate Father's Day to pay tribute to all dads for their sacrifices and helping their children become better people.

And to mark this special day, GMANetwork.com got the chance to chat with the Runners of Running Man Philippines and learned a thing or two about their fathers and how they shaped their lives.

For versatile actress Glaiza De Castro, a.k.a Boss G, her father Boy Galura was instrumental in nurturing her love for music.

She said during the interview that her Tatay Boy taught her how to play the guitar.

Paano tugtugin 'yan?'

The Sparkle beauty also stressed that her dad inculcated in her the value of respecting other people, whatever their background in life.

Just like many Filipinos who have a family member working abroad, Kokoy de Santos also grew up that his dad was not around since he is working as a seaman.

The Bubble Gang heartthrob recalled that he always looks forward to spending time with him when he is on vacation in the country.

In terms of the life lesson his father imparted to him, Kokoy stated that his dad underscores the value of “utang na loob,” especially to those who supported him when he was just starting in show business.

For his part, Miguel Tanfelix stated that his best moments with his Daddy Gary are those times wherein they went to do some outdoor activities like hiking.

(With interviews by Jimboy Napoles)
