
Kapuso Action Drama Prince Ruru Madrid did not miss the chance to express his pure love and gratitude for his mother, Jackie, this Mother's Day.
In his latest Instagram post, the Kapuso star shared a throwback photo featuring his mother and siblings. Although they were apart on the actual day of the celebration, the actor left a sincere and touching message for his mother.
“Happy Mother's Day, Ma!” Ruru wrote in the caption of his post.
Ruru Also emphasized his gratitude to his parents for being God's instruments in bringing him into this world. He also reminisced about the sacrifices his mother made when they were still young.
“Wala man ako sa tabi mo ngayon pero gusto pa rin kitang batiin ng isang maligayang Araw ng mga Nanay. Napakarami kong dapat ipagpasalamat sa'yo,” he expressed.
“Una na doon ang katotohanang ikaw at si Dada ang naging instrumento ng Diyos para mabuhay ako sa mundong ito. Walang araw na lumipas na hindi ako nagpasalamat sa Ama na ikaw ang naging Nanay ko,” he continued.
The actor further highlighted his immense gratitude to his mother, stating that he deeply feels her undying care and love from their childhood up to the present, even as they now pursue their own separate paths in life.
“Salamat, Ma, dahil hanggang ngayon malinaw pa rin sa isip ko lahat ng sakripisyo at pagmamahal na ibinigay mo sa amin noong mga bata pa kami. At hanggang ngayon, dama ko pa rin ang walang kupas mong pagmamahal at pag-aaruga,” Ruru added.
Aside from his gratitude, Ruru also left an important promise, to fulfill all of his dreams, which he knows are also his mother's dreams for him and his siblings. The actor also assured that he will never neglect his family.
“Hindi ako magsasawang mahalin ka at magpasalamat sa'yo. Sana alam mo na lahat ng mga pangarap ko, tutuparin ko — dahil alam kong pangarap mo rin iyon para sa amin,” Ruru wrote.
He continued, “Aalagaan kita habang nabubuhay ako, at hindi ko rin pababayaan ang mga kapatid ko.”
Ruru concluded his message by expressing his love and gratitude to his mother: “Muli, salamat sa lahat, Ma. Mahal na mahal kita.”
Ruru Madrid is returning to the big screen as part of the cast for the historical film, Los Salvajes Bravos.
Directed by Paolo Dy and produced by JesCom Films, the movie centers on the tragic 1887 expedition of Igorot savages to Madrid.
He joins a formidable ensemble of the country's most respected veteran actors, including Michael De Mesa, Christian Vasquez, Arnold Reyes, Paolo O'Hara, and Michael Roy Jornales.
