Kapuso actor and primetime action hero Ruru Madrid proudly shared a short teaser for his upcoming film Hand of God.
It is one of the nine full-length entries for this year's edition of the prestigious Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival.
Ranvel Rufino, one of the film's producers, posted the video on his Instagram account which Ruru then reposted.
Hand of God tells the story of a young soldier who introduces the game of football to the children of a remote, warn-torn village.
The film's title is most likely a reference to one of football's most controversial moments--Diego Maradona's opening goal during the 1986 World Cup quarter final match between Argentina and England where he allegedly used his left hand to score.
The match ended 2-1 in favor of Argentina after Maradona scored another goal. Argentina eventually won their second World Cup title that year.

In an interview with Nelson Canlas for 24 Oras, Ruru recalled his experience of shooting a few of the movie's scenes in Basilan.
"Marami po tayong mga misconception about Basilan. Noong bata ako, taga-Zamboanga po 'yung mama ko so siyempre marami pong mga kuwento na sa Basilan daw po ay delikado, sa Basilan daw ay parang hindi pa safe. Pero noong nagpunta po ako doon, kabaligtaran po ng lahat ng narinig ko," the actor shared.
