Korean artist Sandara Park to the late 'Meteor Garden' star Barbie Hsu: “We will always remember you.”

Sandara Park paid homage to Taiwanese actress and Meteor Garden star Barbie Hsu, who passed away recently.

As seen on X (formerly Twitter), a Filipino user shared a video of the Korean artist singing “Ni Yao De Ai,” which was the Taiwanese television drama's official soundtrack, on stage during the Kaohsiung New Year's Eve Party.

Sandara then replied to the said post and penned a short yet heartwarming message for Barbie.

She wrote, “Rest in peace Barbie Hsu. I got influenced by you since when I started my career. We will always remember you.”

Aside from Sandra, Filipino actress and host Kim Chiu also honored the late Taiwanese star and thanked her for making her childhood colorful.

“Naalala ko after school, magmamadali ako umuwi para mapanood lang ang [Meteor Garden]. [Kapag] di ko na maabutan, makikinood ako sa karinderya sa labas ng school namin.

“I love you SanChai!!!! May you rest in peace! Thank you sa makulay namin childhood. Pigtail braids!” she posted on X.

Other Meteor Garden stars such as Jerry Yan, who portrayed the role Dao Ming Su, Ken Chu, who played the role Ximen, and Rainie Yang, who played the character Xiao You, also paid tribute to Barbie online.

Barbie Hsu passed away at the age of 48 due to pneumonia from influenza complications, which sparked conversations on social media about her past health battles.
