SB19 mlb pitch

Marking another milestone on their global tour, SB19 is slated to throw the ceremonial first pitch at an upcoming baseball game on July 29.

P-Pop powerhouse SB19 is continuing its global milestones, turning international stages into victories for Original Pilipino Music (OPM).

On Sunday, July 20, the five-member group composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, unveiled their packed global promo tour itinerary for July and August across their official social media channels.

“The calendar is set. The climb continues. One nation behind us. The world before us,” the caption read.

Among the most talked-about stops on their itinerary is an appearance on Wednesday, July 29, at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, Illinois.

SB19 will step onto the field to throw the ceremonial first pitch before the Major League Baseball (MLB) showdown between the Chicago White Sox and the New York Yankees.

With this ceremonial throw, the group officially becomes the first-ever Filipino group to deliver a first pitch at an MLB game.

The moment places them alongside Filipino figures who have previously graced MLB mounds, including global boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, actress Liza Soberano, and comedian Jo Koy.

The historic baseball appearance is just one chapter in a lineup of international engagements spanning prestigious cultural venues and major global music festivals.

Also featured on SB19's packed global promo tour schedule is a performance at the Grammy Museum on July 28, followed by a stage at Lollapalooza on July 30. Fans in the United States can look forward to the I WaS There Thanksgiving Fanmeet on August 8 and 9. The group will then head to Asia for Summer Sonic on August 14 and 15, concluding this leg with the I WaS There Thanksgiving Fanmeet in Japan on August 18.
