K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN continued their winning streak by taking home a grand prize for the second consecutive year at the renowned 2024 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
The prestigious ceremony of the K-pop industry was held from November 22 to 23 in Los Angeles, California, marking the US' first time to host the awards show, and in Osaka, Japan.
SEVENTEEN received the esteemed Visa Artist of the Year award on the final night.
The 13-member group also received Visa Album of the Year, one of the four grand prizes, for its 11th EP, Seventeenth Heaven, Best Male Group, Visa Super Stage, and Fans' Choice Male Top 10.
During the acceptance speech, the group turned emotional.
Woozi said, "They say imagination is free, but winning the grand prize two years in a row was something we couldn't even dream of. We promise to stay grounded and repay your support until the very end."
"Last year's grand prize felt like a message to never give up. This year feels like an encouragement to keep moving forward as SEVENTEEN," Hoshi added.
Among the winners is Aespa, who bagged Song of the Year for Supernova. The girl group secured six awards, including Best Female Group, Best Dance Performance Female Group, Best Choreography, Best Music Video, and Fans' Choice Female Top 10.
