Sharon Cuneta: "Mali your choice, 'no?"
Sharon Cuneta made a lighthearted joke about President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his choice of running mate during Eleksyon 2022.
At the event titled “An Evening with the Stars: A Gala Celebrating the Stars Who Continue to Light Our Way,” the Mega Star engaged with the President and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos onstage before performing a song.

She said, “Sir, I have only one vice president… my date tonight. Mali your choice, 'no?” This joke elicited laughter from the audience.
Sharon then added, “Okay, okay. Let's move on.”
“Basta, Mr. President, you have my support.”
Sharon's husband, Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, ran for vice president as the running mate of then-Vice President Leni Robredo in the 2022 presidential elections. Meanwhile, President Marcos Jr. and his running mate, Vice President Sara Duterte, won the elections.
